Yes! You can select and print only your size using the layers feature in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Use the “Layers” panel in Adobe Acrobat to turn on only the size(s) you want to print. Always keep the “Details” layer checked for assembly lines. How to select sizes step by step:
1.- Locate the layers panel: On the left side of the screen, look for the “Layers” icon (it looks like two stacked squares).
2.- Understand the layers: You’ll see a list of layers, such as:
– “Details” (Always keep the “Details” layer checked (the eye icon should be on). This layer contains essential information like markings, notches, and instructions needed to assemble the pattern.
– Size Layers (e.g., Size S, Size M, Size L, etc.).
3.- Select the size(s) you want to print: Click the eye icon next to each size layer to turn it on (visible) or off (hidden). Turn on only the size(s) you want to print. This saves ink by hiding the sizes you don’t need.
Yes! You will receive a pdf book with instructions in English where the following aspects are detailed:
✔︎ Pattern presentation of the pattern.
✔︎ Materials.
✔︎ Size chart.
✔︎ How to print sewing patterns at home and join it (you will also find a detailed video on how you can do it). In order to help you to be able to assemble the patterns in the easiest way you will find the mosaic or pattern tiles for each print size.
✔︎ Explanation of the pieces that make up the pattern.
✔︎ Chart explaining the seam allowance measurements included in the pattern (yey! every pattern includes seam allowances. It’s very convenient, just cut out your size and cut the pattern on your fabric).
✔︎ A chapter on how to lay out every piece.
✔︎ Videotutorial with step by step instructions. It also details the minutes and seconds per chapter of the sewing. So you can find specific parts of the video quickly and easily. If you stop your sewing and come back the next day this will help you a lot :)
✔︎ Finally you will find more ideas and styling options.
Our courses include detailed step-by-step video tutorials with clear visuals, perfect for every sewing level. Each video is broken down by chapters, with minute and second markers for each step, so you can easily jump to the part you need—even if you pause and return the next day.
Need to slow down the video? We also explain how to adjust the playback speed in the PDF instructions of every pattern, so you can follow at your own pace.
All videos include Spanish subtitles, and we’re currently working on adding English voiceovers soon.
If you prefer to learn through photographs and written text, you can do so through the ebook The Zipperpedia (more than 300 images) or our Edesia vest pattern, which is currently the only one whose instructions are written and fully illustrated.
We’re currently working on launching a YouTube channel where we’ll publish detailed, step-by-step sewing classes for our patterns.
Our goal is to release one high-quality sewing class per month, completely free and full of tips to help you get the best results.
Stay tuned by checking our website or joining the newsletter—we’ll keep you updated as soon as the first videos are live. 💗
Every pattern includes sizes from 34 to 48 (EU), equivalent to XXS–XXXL. Size ranges are listed on each product page.
Every pattern includes complete sizing tools for perfect results:
✔ Detailed measurement charts.
✔ Visual fit diagrams showing garment proportions and intended ease.
✔ Step-by-step measurement guides (how to measure yourself accurately).
✔ Silhouette references to understand the final look.
You’ll find everything in your pattern’s instruction PDF. For best results, compare your body measurements (not ready-to-wear size) with our charts before cutting.
Absolutely!
All our patterns are designed with key reference points (like darts, notches, and seam allowances) that give you some flexibility when fitting.
If you realize you’d like a closer fit—or need to tweak the shape slightly—you can often do this during the sewing process by adjusting side seams, darts, or even adding elastic in strategic areas. We recommend trying on the garment as you go (basting or pinning helps!) so you can fine-tune the fit before finishing. Some changes can be made through fabric, but others require modifying the pattern directly, especially if you’re adjusting areas where more fabric is needed.
If you need help with modifications, feel free to ask inside the forum for your purchased pattern or course—we’ll support you throughout the process.
Please choose the size that most closely matches your body measurements.
If you’re between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size, which allows for adjustments where needed.
It’s a good idea to make a fit test (toile) using fabric with a similar weight to your final fabric.
Sew the main pattern pieces to test the fit, then you can easily make variations or refinements before cutting into your final fabric.
Printing features:
– Print your pattern from Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can download it for free here.
– Select “actual size” or “custom scale: 100%“. Never “adjust” or “scale to fit”.
– Ensure that the page orientation is set to “automatic”.
– To start with, print only the first sheet and check that the measurements of the sample square are correct. If the test is satisfactory, print the rest of the pages.
The pages are numbered and include matching marks to align easily. Use tape (my preferred option) or a glue stick. How to join the sheets
The method for joining the pattern sheets is as follows:
1.- On the first sheet “A1” no borders are trimmed.
2.- On the second and successive sheets “A2, A3, A4…” you only have to cut out the left margin and paste with adhesive tape making the rhombuses coincide.
3.- When changing rows, sheet “B1”, trim the top margin and paste the page making the rhombuses match.
4.- On the second sheet of the second and successive rows “B2, B3, B4…” cut out only the top margin and the left margin. Tape the rhombuses together so that they match.
5.- Follow this procedure until the mosaic is completed.
Watch our step-by-step video tutorial to easily align and tape your pattern for accurate cutting and sewing!
Always check the test square included on page 1. Make sure “scale to fit” is turned off in your printer settings.
